Lead a Team and Drive Business Growth

As a Branch Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the strategic plan to boost market share for your local area. This is an all-encompassing role that requires leadership, commercial, and operational skills.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop the competencies of your team through coaching and continuous improvement.
  • Prioritize business performance by tracking key performance indicators, reporting, and creating strategic plans.
  • Work closely with the Community Bank board to build and nurture community relationships, promoting our brand, and establishing yourself as a go-to person for banking in your area.
  • Lead by example, prioritizing customer experience, and stepping in wherever the branch needs you.
  • Be a lifelong learner, bringing your brilliant mind, and we will help you take your career to the next level with on-the-job training and other learning opportunities.
  • Build connections by supporting customers, giving back to the community, and making our communities a better place, while having some fun along the way.

This is a permanent, full-time position located in Victoria, Australia.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • People leadership with the ability to develop, coach, and manage staff performance.
  • Proven sales mentorship through implementing strategies to drive business growth.
  • Experience in residential and commercial lending (essential).
  • Strong communication skills to deliver clear branch expectations.
  • Understanding of financial management, business acumen, and risk framework.
  • The ability to drive operational efficiencies and maintain high standards of compliance.
  • A high level of understanding of lending products, policies, and regulations.
  • Knowledge of retail branch operations.
