We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our fast-paced Surgical Inpatient Unit.
Key Responsibilities- Provide nursing care to consumers of the health service
- Lead, direct, and supervise other nurses and care roles to support quality care
The Surgical Ward G3, based at Gosford Hospital, is a 28-bed acute general surgical ward, specialising in unplanned surgical, emergency, and trauma cases.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Experience in surgical nursing is desirable but not required
- A commitment to quality improvement, practice development, and evidence-based practice
- Motivated to learn and grow within a dynamic field
- Understanding of team nursing and ability to work effectively and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team
