Market Operations Business Solutions Specialist

This is a 12-month Maximum Term Contract for an external candidate, or a 12-month secondment opportunity for an internal candidate.
Key Responsibilities- Understand the bank's infrastructure on how the systems interface (Wallstreet, Murex, AMH, PMS, etc).
- Lead and drive MO projects independently, owning the end-to-end process from data collection to model deployment.
- Collaborate with business and cross-functional teams to understand their needs and implement business solutions.
- Contribute to the conversion of business and customer needs into functional designs with the intent of achieving desired customer outcomes.
- Contribute to assessment of dependencies and associated risk and compliance implications of requirements and solutions.
- Understand what is required in terms of the interaction with both internal and external clients and the processes for sourcing information from established relationships.
- Report processing/operational risk issues to management and execute manual/system-based controls to mitigate these risks.
- Execute testing of systems and changes to processes/workflows.
- Adhere to the Code of Conduct.
- Relevant operations experience.
- AFMA Accreditation is desirable.
- Tertiary qualifications in a finance discipline highly desirable.
- Proven communicator with stakeholders, who can demonstrate capacity to work to tight deadlines.
- High levels of motivation and resilience.
- Outstanding written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, influence and work with stakeholders.
- Proven ability to deliver challenging tasks to tight deadlines, evidenced by experience in owning and driving complex initiatives.
