Grounds Maintenance Position

This role is an opportunity to work in a team environment, undertaking grounds maintenance tasks at RAAF Base Edinburgh.

The successful applicant will be responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of gardens and lawns, operating ride-on mowers and other equipment as required. They will also participate in general labouring tasks, assisting with building and plumbing trade sites or as directed.

  • Operate ride on mower, whipper snipper and other equipment
  • Upkeep and maintain gardens and lawns.
  • Participate in general labouring of the grounds, (and assist other trades and services) building and plumbing trade sites or as directed.
Requirements
  • Must be willing to undertake a medical including drug and alcohol screen
  • National Police Check for the purpose of obtaining a Defence Base Pass - Note these are assessed on a case by case basis
  • Able to follow procedures and work within a team environment
  • Current drivers licence

Applicants must have a willingness to work in a team environment and possess basic labouring skills. A current driver's license is also required.
