Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team in Queensland, Australia.

As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for conducting Preventative and Reactive Maintenance for Getinge equipment at customer sites. This includes supporting installations, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring that equipment is returned to full functionality.

The ideal candidate will have a Grade Electrical licence, mechanical aptitude, and previous experience as a Field Service Engineer or Technician. They will also possess excellent interpersonal skills, a customer service orientation, and the ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines.

Responsibilities
  • Supporting installations of Getinge capital equipment;
  • Troubleshooting issues with equipment and ensuring it is returned to full functionality;
  • Liaising with the Getinge Service Co-ordination team prior to attending customer sites;
  • Completing Service Documentation within a mobile device;

This role requires regional travel, and the successful applicant will be required to undergo relevant references, police, and medical checks prior to appointment.

Requirements
  • A Grade Electrical licence (mandatory requirement);
  • A mechanical aptitude;
  • A valid Driver's Licence; Previous experience as a Field Service Engineer or Technician, ideally in the MedTech sector;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a customer service orientation;
  • The ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines, and as part of a team.

Estimated salary: AU$90,000 - AU$110,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
