To be eligible, you must:

  • ">
  • Be aged 15 to 29 years at the commencement of the traineeship">
  • Be unemployed or not working more than 15 hours per week">
  • Not hold a completed qualification higher than Certificate IV">

Our program addresses barriers to employment by prioritizing young people from diverse backgrounds, including those who have left school without completing Year 12, are Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander, at risk of homelessness, or have a disability.

You will learn to:

  • Provide support in the collation and distribution of documents">
  • Communicate and liaise effectively with managers and staff to assist in the professional operation of the business unit">
  • Perform a range of administrative tasks accurately and in a timely manner, including answering routine queries, taking messages, following up on action items, arranging meetings and agendas, photocopying and filing">
  • Perform computer-based tasks, including preparing and sending standard written communications, maintaining databases and registers">
  • Other administrative support as required">

About You:

We seek individuals with a desire to work and develop their careers within the Public Sector. You should be committed to a 12-month traineeship while undertaking a Certificate III Business on-the-job. Strong self-motivation, enthusiasm, a high work ethic, and a can-do attitude are essential. Professional presentation, honesty, reliability, punctuality, attention to detail, and sound written communication skills are also required.
