Aircraft Maintenance Role Overview

Maintenance and Repair Services are seeking an experienced Aviation professional to support the Chinook Maintenance and Logistics Support Program.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Aircraft flight operations including pre-flight, after-flight and taxiing
  • Aircraft towing operations ensuring safe transportation
  • Aircraft fuel management for refueling and defueling
  • Support in Aircraft inspections and servicing's
  • Preparation and inspection of aircraft and ground equipment

Aerospace professionals will be at the AW2 or AW3 level depending on task authorization requirements, experience in the industry and qualifications held.

Working Environment:
  • Reporting to a designated Maintenance Manager
  • Liaising with industry teams involved in maintenance operations
  • Collaboration in a team environment
Requirements:
  • Australian Citizenship required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Australian Defence security clearance or ability to obtain
