Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our engineering team in Brisbane. As an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and reliability of our aircraft.

  • You will work on a shift basis, performing maintenance on Cathay Group aircraft and third-party customers under the supervision of a licensed engineer.
  • You will monitor third-party suppliers' performance, identify operational issues, and take corrective action to prevent delays or disruptions.
  • You will be responsible for servicing and maintaining ground equipment, vehicles, systems, and facilities.
  • You will support contingency plans and ad-hoc operational requirements, such as diversions and charters.
Requirements
  • Certificate IV or Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance/Engineering is required.
  • You must have experience working with wide-body aircraft types, including B787, B777, A350, A330, A380, and B747-8 Freighter aircraft.
  • You should have excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and high accuracy.
  • You should be able to communicate clearly and effectively, and operate safely under time pressure.
