Job Title: Estimating Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking a seasoned estimating professional to join our construction branch at Stowe Australia.

The successful candidate will oversee the estimating department's processes and procedures, including daily management of the Estimating Team to ensure tenders are handled and submitted in alignment with our Procedures and Standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage own electrical tenders, including building and maintaining customer relationships, organizing work teams, and identifying efficient methods for task execution.
  • Develop quotations, assist project groups, and maintain clear communication with clients and team members.
  • Oversee the coordination of the bidding process, review tenders with clients, and support the estimating team in preparing accurate tenders.

In addition to these responsibilities, you will support the estimating team by mentoring them on process obstacles, providing timely support for project success, and supporting ongoing tender and cost changes to maintain competitiveness.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Proven experience in electrical estimating within an electrical contracting organization.
  • Proven experience in managing and engaging with a team.
  • Strong data and cost analysis skills, ability to interpret technical documentation, and proficiency in MS Office.

Professional Qualifications:

  • Formal qualifications in Engineering or Project Management (preferred).
  • Current Open Electrical License (preferred).
  • Driver's License.
