About the Opportunity

Our team at Uniting St Matthews Preschool is seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Teacher to join our community. We aim to create a collaborative and inclusive environment where our educators can grow and develop together.

Key Responsibilities

As an Early Childhood Teacher, you will be responsible for contributing to the planning, implementation, and evaluation of the educational program for the children. You will also provide high-quality education and care to support children's learning outcomes in accordance with the National Quality Standards and learning framework.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing programs that reflect the approved learning framework
  • Building positive and respectful relationships with children, families, and the community
  • Facilitating play-based learning environments that cater to children's interests, strengths, and abilities
  • Guiding and supporting educators to implement the program and philosophy for the children
Requirements

We are looking for an experienced Early Childhood Teacher with a Bachelor of Teaching or Early Childhood Education. A minimum of 2 years' experience working as an ECT is required, with experience as an educational lead being advantageous.

You will need to have a strong understanding of the National Quality Framework and EYLF, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, families, and community members.
