About the Opportunity
Uniting St Matthews Preschool is seeking an exceptional Early Childhood Teacher to join our team. As a dynamic and supportive environment, we aim to create a space where our educators can grow and learn together.
The Role
As an Early Childhood Teacher, you will contribute to the planning, implementation, and evaluation of our educational program. Your expertise will help shape a curriculum that supports children's learning outcomes and reflects the National Quality Standards and the Early Years Learning Framework.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development of programs that align with the approved learning framework
- Establish positive and respectful relationships with children, families, and the community
- Foster play-based learning environments that cater to children's interests, strengths, and abilities
- Guide and support educators to implement the program and philosophy
Requirements
• Bachelor of Teaching or Early Childhood Education
• Minimum 2 years' experience as an Early Childhood Teacher, with experience as an educational lead advantageous
• Strong understanding of the National Quality Framework and the Early Years Learning Framework
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively
