Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Practice Manager to lead our team of healthcare professionals in providing high-quality medical services to the community.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and supporting employees, as well as ensuring the smooth operation of our medical centre.

About the Role

This is a full-time position that requires strong leadership and management skills, as well as experience in medical practice management.

  • Manage the reception team workflow, lead and support them to manage patient appointments, greet clients, take re-bookings and payments
  • Debt collections and financial management
  • Maintenance and security of the medical centre
  • Privacy and quality controls of patient files and notes
  • Engagement and management of third parties
  • Support Management team with reporting and ad hoc tasks
  • Create and support a harmonious, cheerful and engaging practice environment
  • Ensure all staff, patients and visitors follow Covid-19 health regulations
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Prior experience in medical practice management
  • Demonstrated people management skills
  • Experience with recruitment, staff training and development
  • Thorough understanding of financial management of a medical business, including Medicare rebates
  • Experience with Best Practice (advantageous)
  • Experience in Practice Accreditation
