Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Securities Finance Trader to join our Global Markets team.

This role is responsible for managing the existing book of business and growing market share in a competitive landscape.

The ideal candidate will possess superior problem-solving, analytical, and technical skills.

  • Borrow and lend securities to cover and manage clients' short positions
  • Interact with clients and provide security-specific color on the securities lending market
  • Provide locates for new short positions and manage them throughout the lifecycle of the trade
  • Interact with interbank market for repo financing business
  • Work closely with partner teams to deliver an exceptional product experience

Requirements:

  • Experience working in fast-paced front office financial markets environment (Prime Brokerage experience a plus)
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills; ability to interact professionally with business leaders and technical teams alike
  • Flexibility with a creative approach; willing to challenge current paradigms
  • Proficiency in Bloomberg and Microsoft Office, specifically Excel

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum 2-5 years of experience
