Research Fellowship Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Research Fellow. This is an exciting opportunity to work with us on a range of projects that align with your interests and skills.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will have a strong background in creative arts or performing arts, with a track record of academic excellence and significant personal contributions to their discipline. They will also have high-level experience gained through studying and researching in different institutions and professional experience in the creative arts sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research and analysis on a range of projects related to creative arts and performing arts;
  • Develop and implement innovative solutions to complex problems;
  • Collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders to achieve project outcomes;
  • Maintain accurate records and reports of project progress and outcomes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A PhD or equivalent in creative arts or performing arts;
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in the creative arts sector;
  • Proven track record of academic excellence and significant personal contributions to the discipline;
  • High-level experience gained through studying and researching in different institutions.

Benefits:

  • A stipend and subsidised accommodation at Forrest Hall in a luxury self-contained studio apartment;
  • Salary consistent with a Level A Step 8 appointment plus 17% superannuation;
  • Accommodation supplement of up to $25,116 per annum in 2025 (subject to marginal tax rate);
  • Research allowance of up to $12,000 available for approved research-related expenses.
