Research and Creative Fellowship

Gain a prestigious two-year research opportunity at one of Western Australia's five universities. The Forrest Research Foundation offers generous fellowships to outstanding researchers and practitioners from around the world.

The fellowship is open to candidates with a strong academic track record, creative thinking, excellent communication skills, and a desire to be part of this elite group of researchers.

To be eligible for these fellowships, applicants will normally meet the following criteria:

  • A proven academic excellence through a PhD or first-class honors (or equivalent).
  • Completion of an undergraduate degree (with honors) within eight years or a Masters degree within five years.
  • A research component in a creative arts/performing arts discipline or proven practitioner research experience and achievements.
  • A minimum of three years professional experience in the creative arts/performing arts sector.

The fellowships can be held at any of the five universities in Western Australia: The University of Western Australia, Curtin University, Murdoch University, Edith Cowan University, or The University of Notre Dame Australia.
