We are currently seeking an experienced Facilities Attendant to join our team in the Mackay region. As a key member of our maintenance crew, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our facilities and amenities remain clean, safe, and well-maintained.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough cleaning and housekeeping tasks throughout our facilities
  • Assist with kitchen duties, dining room service, and tavern operations as needed
  • Maintain high standards of safety, cleanliness, and operational efficiency at all times
  • Collaborate closely with other staff members and supervisors to meet service standards and exceed customer expectations

To be considered for this position, applicants should possess:

  • Previous experience working in a remote setting or within the hospitality industry (preferably)
  • Australian Permanent Resident status
  • A valid police check issued within the last 3 months or willingness to obtain one
  • Standard 11 surface mining induction or willingness to obtain
  • A current Safe Food Handling Certificate
  • An RSA Certificate (desired)
