Job Responsibilities- Designing high-availability and disaster recovery solutions for platform-as-a-service offerings, including Exadata, Autonomous Databases, RAC, and Data Guard.
- Implementing Oracle ASM/ACFS and automating DBA tasks through scripting.
- Using backup utilities like RMAN, EXPDP/IMPDP, CRSCTL, SRVCTL, NetBackup, and Networker.
- Applying patches for grid and database using PSU in standalone and multi-node RAC environments.
- Managing Oracle OEM 12C/13C and engaging with customers regarding operational issues and activities.
- Configuring and troubleshooting physical standby databases using Data Guard broker.
- Fine-tuning and troubleshooting database tables, implementing backup and recovery strategies for Oracle databases, and administering database objects like tables, clusters, views, procedures, etc.
- Analyzing impacts of database changes and design modifications, understanding advanced architectures such as Multi-Node, RAC, ASM, and following core support processes, change management, and documentation standards.
A key aspect of this role is working effectively in a team environment to deliver results-oriented solutions that meet the needs of our clients. We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated individual who can contribute to our team's success.
Key Qualifications:
- Proven experience in designing and implementing database systems
- Expertise in Oracle databases, including configuration, tuning, and troubleshooting
- Strong knowledge of backup and recovery techniques
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
