Advanced Clinical Psychologist
Role Overview- Delivers high-quality, advanced level psychology services including individualised and group clinical care based on professional training and current ethical clinical practice.
- Conducts comprehensive assessments and develops care plans, monitoring consumer progress and adjusting treatment accordingly for complex management.
- Liaises with the multidisciplinary team to promote effective communication and provides verbal and written feedback to referring doctors.
- Maintains confidentiality and adheres to legal and ethical responsibilities towards consumers, visitors, and staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Provides psychological services to individuals and groups, developing and implementing treatment plans tailored to each consumer's needs.
- Collaborates with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless delivery of care and promotes a culture of safety and respect within the workplace.
- Develops and maintains relationships with external agencies and stakeholders to advance the organization's mission and objectives.
Qualifications and Experience
- Hold tertiary qualifications in Psychology and be registered with the relevant professional body.
- Have experience working with DBT and Schema-Focused Therapy, with a focus on delivering evidence-based interventions that meet the unique needs of each consumer.
- Be highly motivated and committed to providing exceptional care and service to consumers, families, and carers.
