About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to join our finance team as a Debt Collection and Financial Management Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the college's collection process, ensuring timely communication with parents, and maintaining accurate records.

Job Description:

The primary responsibilities of this role include:

  • Maintaining the Family Database using College Systems
  • Responding to parent queries in a timely and efficient manner
  • Regular contact with debtors and issuing monthly debtor statements
  • Documenting and communicating information on College systems
  • Preparing correspondence to families and external providers as required
  • Setting up and monitoring repayment plans for families
  • Preparing recommendations for collection action and/or write-offs to the Business Manager
  • Monitoring progress of accounts referred to external agencies for collection

Salary: The estimated salary for this role is AU$65,000 - AU$80,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience in a similar debt collection position
  • Knowledge of Synergetic
  • Knowledge of ACCC/ASIC Debt Collection Guidelines
  • Exemplary computer skills, including high-level keyboard skills
  • Experience with Microsoft packages
