We are seeking a skilled Mineral Processing Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will have experience in laboratory analysis and be proficient in the operation of analytical equipment.

This is a permanent role with opportunities for career advancement.

The role will involve working on an 8:6 roster, FIFO from Perth or DIDO from within the Gascoyne region.

About the Role

This is a key position within our operations and requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

The successful candidate will have strong communication skills and be able to maintain accurate records.

The role involves:

  • Developing required competencies in training packages, priority operating systems and procedures;
  • Performing operating duties as directed and supporting plant commissioning;
  • Embracing and complying with all safety systems, policies, and procedures;
  • Undertaking workplace inspections and audits;
  • Reporting all hazards and incidents and supporting investigations and corrective actions;
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Demonstrated experience as a Laboratory Technician at a minerals processing plant;
  • Competence and capability in sample collection and analysis;
  • A strong understanding of beneficiating within mineral processing;
  • Working experience with XRF Operations, maintenance, and calibration using standards;
  • Proficiency with computers and Laboratory Information Management System software;
  • Prior experience in plant commissioning and/or plant ramp up will be well regarded;
  • A Certificate in Laboratory Techniques or higher;
  • A current drivers' licence;
