The Opportunity

Our Delivery team brings context to data, and Technical Leads drive innovation, implementing Quantexa's technology in banking, insurance, government, and healthcare. As a Lead, you'll guide and mentor data engineers, solving complex technical problems, and working with business teams and clients to deliver sophisticated data solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support junior data engineers in an agile framework.
  • Write efficient, fault-tolerant code for production data processing systems.
  • Configure and deploy Quantexa's software using Spark, Hadoop, Scala, Elasticsearch, and Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure, and Amazon.
  • Articulate technical concepts to non-technical audiences and collaborate with solution architects and R&D engineers to champion solutions and standards.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of industry experience in data engineering or a related field, with 2 years of lead experience.
  • Proficiency in Scala, Java, Python, or a related programming language.
  • Expertise in building and deploying production data processing systems, with a strong understanding of development, release, and operations.
  • Experience with modern development tooling, automation, and DevOps technologies.
  • Strong technical communication skills and experience working in rapidly changing client environments.
