Job Summary

Tradewind Australia is seeking a qualified and experienced Early Childhood Educator to join a Jewish school in Dover Heights, NSW. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality education and care to young children in a play-based learning environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teaching and Learning
    • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to individual learner needs
    • Base teaching on best theoretical and practical knowledge and knowledge of each student's development, skills and interest
  • Child Development and Wellbeing
    • Provide an environment that promotes the cognitive, physical, emotional, social and intellectual wellbeing of all students
    • Identify and cater for individual learner needs, collaborating with other teachers and specialist staff in the College
  • Communication and Collaboration
    • Work closely with parents regarding the progress and development of their children
    • Participate in the creation, development and evaluation of curriculum, with a focus on Jewish tradition
  • Professional Development
    • Stay informed regarding current trends, teaching practices and curriculum and resource developments by remaining in contact with relevant associations and other professional networks
Requirements
  • Cert III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACEQUA equivalency)
  • Current Working with Children Check
  • Previous/current experience as an Early Childhood Educator in Australia
  • Satisfactory Police Check
