Senior Electrical Design Engineer - Primary Systems

This is a critical role within our Power Utilities team where you will be responsible for providing detailed designs, developing specifications and interfacing with management on design issues.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of primary design, including HV cable design, Earthing design and lightning protection.

About the Role
  • Design and develop specifications for HV Substations up to 500kV for major utilities and renewables projects.
  • Provide technical leadership and expertise to ensure high-quality designs are delivered.
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Bachelor degree in electrical engineering or related field.
  • At least 6 years of experience in primary design of HV plants.
  • Fundamental understanding of HV systems and design principles.
  • Detailed knowledge of earthing design and lightning protection.
