Quality Assurance Lead Position

As a Quality Assurance Lead, you will be responsible for establishing and owning the quality assurance function for a growing SaaS platform. This is a high-impact role with full ownership of QA direction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement QA processes and frameworks to ensure seamless software delivery.
  • Define test strategy across functional and automation testing to guarantee top-notch product quality.
  • Develop automated test coverage using Selenium with Java to enhance efficiency.
  • Perform manual functional testing where required to maintain comprehensive quality control.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, product, and delivery teams throughout the SDLC to foster effective communication and teamwork.
  • Create test plans, write and maintain test cases, and manage defect tracking to streamline the quality assurance process.
  • Recommend improvements to tools, processes, and coverage to drive continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a QA Lead or Senior QA in a software or SaaS environment is essential for success in this role.
  • Strong hands-on skills in test automation (Selenium with Java preferred) are necessary for designing and implementing efficient test strategies.
  • Solid experience in functional testing and test case design is crucial for ensuring comprehensive quality control.
  • Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of quality is vital for driving continuous improvement.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills across technical teams are necessary for fostering effective teamwork and communication.
