Wi-Fi Chip Designer

We are seeking an experienced Wi-Fi chip designer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering group, you will be responsible for designing and developing next-generation Wi-Fi chips that meet the demands of the rapidly evolving market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop digital PHY architecture and DSP design suitable for 802.11 protocols on advanced low-power process nodes.
  • Develop and verify 802.11ah PHY in Scala (Chisel), System Verilog and C.
  • Work closely with the Systems team to achieve the best performance.
  • Collaborate with the Analog & RF team to define and improve radio interface.
  • Assist with bring-up of silicon in the lab and debug PHY performance.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic/Communication Engineering or Computer Science.
  • At least 3 years of experience as a PHY IC Design Engineer.
  • Solid understanding of digital signal processing (DSP) with emphasis on hardware implementation.
  • Proven experience developing multiple DSP blocks in complex SoCs.
  • Familiarity with IEEE 802.11 PHY layer and 802.11ah.
  • Hands-on experience with Cadence or Synopsys simulation suite.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Bonus Skills:

  • Experience performing phy bring up, debug and performance measurement on silicon in the lab.
  • Familiarity with RISC-V is a plus.
  • Understanding of mixed signal ASIC design and simulation.
