Job Overview

A leading Australian energy company seeks a Contract Manager to support its gas operations and delivery team. The successful candidate will lead the day-to-day management of critical gas contracts, ensuring smooth delivery and compliance with commercial objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide contract support for high-value gas contracts
  • Manage operational contracts to ensure timely delivery
  • Improve gas systems and processes, enhancing coordination across teams

The Contract Manager will work closely with internal stakeholders to build strong relationships, manage complex interfaces, and identify value through negotiation, oversight, and process improvement.

Qualifications
  • Proven experience in portfolio and contract management with leadership skills
  • Advanced Excel skills with proficiency in Power BI and DAX
  • Experience in operations, capital delivery, or contract management
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills with ability to manage complex relationships
  • Commercial acumen with ability to identify and deliver value

  • Lead contract governance and performance management
  • Oversee development, negotiation, and execution of works and services contracts
  • Act as trusted advisor on contractual matters
  • Manage budget and forecast for key contracts
  • Identify and manage contractual and operational risks
