About the Role:

Ambition Group is seeking an experienced EPMO Lead to join our team and drive portfolio governance and project management excellence. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading a high-performing team and developing and implementing a project management framework that aligns with our organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of project management professionals to drive portfolio governance and best practice
  • Develop and implement a project management framework that aligns with organizational goals
  • Provide effective project and portfolio reporting to stakeholders
  • Support project managers and sponsors in delivering projects
  • Manage and improve the portfolio project management system to ensure it aligns with organizational PM maturity
  • Manage organizational relationships both internally and externally
  • Ensure compliance with regulations and policies
  • Identify and mitigate project and portfolio risk using risk management systems and processes

Position Relationships:

Reports to the Chief Financial Officer and interacts with the Executive Management Team, Project Services Team, and other staff involved in project delivery. Also engages with external contacts such as contractors, suppliers, and software providers.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience leading an EPMO function and driving continuous improvement at the portfolio level
  • Experience in developing and implementing a project management framework
  • Good understanding of what it takes to deliver a capital project and the risks associated with this
  • Ability to collaborate and influence across the organization
