About the Role

We are seeking an experienced EPMO Lead to join our team at Ambition Group. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for driving portfolio governance and continuously improving our project management framework.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a high-performing team of 2 to drive project management governance and best practice.
  • Build project management maturity and capability.
  • Continuously improve the project management framework.
  • Provide effective project and portfolio reporting.
  • Support project managers and sponsors.
  • Manage and improve the portfolio project management system and ensure it aligns with organizational PM maturity.
  • Manage organizational relationships both internally and externally.
  • Successfully manage organisational change.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations and policies.
  • Ensure risk management systems and processes are being used to effectively identify and mitigate project and portfolio risk.
Position Relationships

Reports to the Chief Financial Officer. Interacts with the Executive Management Team, Project Services Team, and other staff involved in project delivery. Also engages with external contacts such as contractors, suppliers, local authorities, statutory bodies, and software providers.

Requirements
  • Previously led an e PMO function and driven continuous improvement at the portfolio level.
  • Been involved in developing and implementing a project management framework.
  • Good understanding of what it takes to deliver a capital project and the risks associated with this.
  • Looking for this person to be a great collaborator and influencer across the organisation.
