Job Description

The Grounds Person Lead will provide leadership to an experienced and passionate grounds team at a premier sporting venue.

You will be responsible for assisting the Senior Team Leader in delivering year-round maintenance, preparation, and renovation of all turf surfaces.

  • Maintain high-quality turf surfaces
  • Provide guidance and support to the grounds team
  • Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations
  • Collaborate with other teams to achieve shared goals

Key Responsibilities include:

Requirements
  • Certificate III in Horticulture (Turf), Sports Turf Management or related area
  • Current class C driver's licence
  • Experience and knowledge of high-standard sporting field preparation and other areas including common reserves and landscaping
  • Chemical Application Accreditation AQF3 or equivalent
