Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Housing Coordinator to join our team in delivering effective community solutions.

This role is responsible for assessing and processing applications for social housing assistance, providing access to temporary priority accommodation as needed, and facilitating housing allocation to meet the financial goals of the team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinating with applicants and stakeholders to gather information and assess eligibility
  • Processing applications and allocating housing resources efficiently
  • Maintaining relationships with support agencies and other stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Actioning documentation and administrative duties in a timely manner within software systems
Requirements:
  • Knowledge of social housing and the homelessness, health, and welfare service system
  • Ability to work effectively with people from diverse backgrounds and cultures
  • Understanding of community engagement and trauma-informed practice principles
  • Excellent communication skills, including writing skills (spelling, grammar)
  • Good proficiency with Microsoft products (Outlook, Word, Excel)
