Key Logistics Coordinator Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to oversee shipping and receiving operations, maintain accurate records of all shipments, and manage purchase orders to ensure timely processing and fulfillment.

This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to build strong working relationships with various stakeholders. The successful candidate will have experience in a busy site administration role and some exposure to an industrial environment.

The Key Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate delivery and receipt of goods while adhering to regulatory and internal policies. They will also maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all shipments, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and coordinate with carriers, freight forwarders, and logistics partners to schedule inbound and outbound shipments.

In addition, the Key Logistics Coordinator will implement strategies to optimize internal and external logistics operations, reducing travel distances and enhancing operational efficiency. They will also contribute to the plant's production reporting process by providing key logistics insights, supporting performance analysis, and the achievement of KPIs.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience in a busy site administration role.
  • Some exposure to an industrial environment would be an advantage.
  • Previous experience in purchasing/stock control.
  • Experience working with SAP or similar systems.
  • High level of computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills with an aptitude to build strong working relationships with a wide range of people.
