Technical Lead for Naval Platforms

We are seeking an experienced Combat Systems Engineer to join our team in Melbourne. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for the development and support of critical combat and electronic systems for defence vessels.
Job Description- Develop and implement complex combat systems, including electronic warfare, communication, and navigation systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and test combat systems.
- Conduct technical investigations, root cause analysis, and solution identification for combat systems and associated equipment.
- Contribute to systems engineering activities supporting requirements analysis, architecture definition, system integration, and verification.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant Engineering discipline (Electrical, Systems, Electronics or related).
- Minimum 2+ years' experience in Combat Systems Engineering, preferably in a defence or naval environment.
- Proven knowledge of systems engineering lifecycle including integration, verification, and validation.
- Solid understanding of combat, weapons, and communications systems, as used on naval platforms.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and stakeholder coordination abilities.
- Ability to obtain an Australian Defence Security Clearance (Baseline Clearance minimum).
