Student Transportation Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Student Transportation Specialist. This part-time position involves safely transporting students to and from school, fostering a positive atmosphere, and adhering to the allocated schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely transport students on designated routes.
  • Foster a positive and welcoming environment with students.
  • Adhere to the allocated schedule and ensure prompt service.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to coordinate transportation for staff and student excursions and camps.
  • Maintain a clean and tidy bus interior, promoting a comfortable environment for students.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating the bus.
  • Safely load and unload students at designated stops, ensuring their well-being and maintaining order.

As a Student Transportation Specialist, you will be responsible for creating a safe and welcoming environment for students. You must have a valid working with children check for VIC and a valid driver's licence (with at least LR licence but preferably MR licence).

Essential Qualifications and Skills:

  • A genuine person with a passion for working with children.
  • Valid working with children check for VIC.
  • Valid driver's licence (with at least LR licence but preferably MR licence).
  • Excellent driving record and commitment to passenger safety.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Reliability and punctuality to ensure timely transportation.
