The position will commence as casual with the potential to move into permanent positions.
The successful applicant will need to have flexibility to work shift work including mornings, nights and weekends, as well as willingness to work between all 3 locations on occasion.
NPT provides a comprehensive induction program and is committed to continuing professional development with the support of our Registered Training Organisation NPT HEART.
Responsibilities: Providing clinical handovers for all transfers Delivery of high quality patient care in a timely, safe and efficient manner Complying with clinical and operational policies and procedures as specified in patient transport regulations and protocols Maintain thorough working knowledge of applicable current standards of care, including equipment functions and uses Excellent customer service Safe driving of patient transport vehicles in accordance with respective road laws across Victoria.
Minimum requirements: Successful completion of at least a Certificate III Non-Emergency Patient Transport or Cert IV In Health Care; or Division 2 Registered Nurse, Ambulance Community Officers (NPT will provide NEPT Bridging Course for successful applicants.
Current Full Drivers licence and good driving record Current National Police Check and Working with Children Check Ability to work professionally as part of a team with effective communication and excellent interpersonal skills.
