Senior Legal Compliance Officer

A Senior Legal Specialist is required to ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory obligations. The role involves providing advice and guidance to Bendigo Bank and its franchisees, ensuring they meet their obligations under each franchise agreement.
Responsibilities- Provide strategic governance, compliance, risk and regulatory advice on all aspects of the Franchise Model.
- Ensure Bendigo Bank meets obligations under ACCC, ASIC, APRA and AFCA regulations.
- Strong understanding of Corporations Law and other statutory requirements.
- Demonstrated legal experience in Banking, Finance, Franchising or regulatory industries.
- Ability to demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of company structures and local company frameworks.
