Job SummaryThe Credit Officer position is responsible for coordinating end-to-end credit for a ledger of accounts. Key responsibilities include:
- Overseeing high-volume credit and collections for assigned ledgers.
- Risk management and negotiation of credit limits and payment terms.
- Management of debtor reporting monthly and yearly.
- Dispute resolution.
- Collaboration with internal sales teams regarding customer accounts.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in credit/collections, coupled with experience managing high-volume collections within a large organisation. Key requirements include:
- Strong experience with systems (ideally Oracle or JD Edwards), and Microsoft Excel is essential for the role.
- Ability to build and maintain collaborative relationships with customers, as well as ability to manage disputes.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Well-developed verbal and written communication skills.
