Job Title: Advanced Interventional Bronchology Training

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated physician to join our thoracic team for an advanced interventional bronchology training program.

This 12-month fellowship opportunity is designed for junior respiratory physicians or final year advanced trainees who wish to pursue a career as a specialist interventional bronchoscopist.

The program has trained over 25 interventional bronchoscopists from Australia and overseas, many of whom have established complex bronchoscopy services.

As a fellow, you will be responsible for performing and assisting with a high volume of complex interventions, including:

  • Rigid bronchoscopy and airway stenting
  • Recanalization procedures
  • Cryobiopsy techniques
  • Navigational bronchoscopy and linear radial EBUS
  • Lung volume reduction and valve placement

You will also have opportunities to engage in research and participate in bronchoscopy workshops.

Responsibilities: You should be highly motivated, efficient, and possess excellent skills in basic bronchoscopy.
