IT Financial Management Consultant

This role involves working on industry-leading mandates for top-tier clients. The ideal candidate will have experience in IT financial management, pricing, data modelling & analysis, statistical modelling.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Partner with teams to develop budgets and forecasts;
  • Review the total cost of ICT and undertake robust analysis to identify optimisation opportunities;
  • Conduct financial analysis, modelling and consulting on the end-to-end costing of ICT projects and systems implementation;
  • Develop complex models to support supplier evaluations, negotiations, and scenario modelling;
  • Provide assurance over financial models, including cost estimates, budgets and forecasts;
Requirements:
  • Superior communication and time management skills;
  • High attention to detail;
  • Ability to handle large volumes of data and translate it to digestible information for senior stakeholders;
  • Advanced Excel modelling (including Power Query) and Power Point skills;
  • Data visualisation skills using tools such as Power BI;
  • Experience with Python and/or Python-in-Excel;
  • Qualifications - Undergraduate degree, with one of the following disciplines: Finance, Business Management / Commerce, Information Technology, Actuarial / Statistics, Computer / Data Science, Economics or Engineering;
  • CA or CPA qualifications are highly desirable;
  • Must hold Australian Citizenship and be able to obtain an Australian Government Security Clearance.
