Senior Cyber Security Leader

This is a senior cyber role that involves shaping and delivering high-impact security initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have experience in leading global cybersecurity teams, managing risks, and ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information assets.

The role requires strong stakeholder engagement, strategic foresight, and leadership skills to lead a geographically dispersed team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute an enterprise-wide information risk and security strategy.
  • Oversee delivery of technology initiatives, ensuring alignment with quality standards.
  • Manage and investigate security incidents, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Build relationships with business units to ensure service delivery expectations are met.
  • Provide consultancy on information security projects and coordinate risk and compliance requirements.
  • Oversee the SOC to ensure efficient detection, analysis, and response to cybersecurity threats.
  • Implement data protection strategies to prevent unauthorized access or loss of sensitive information.
  • Manage vendor relationships, ensuring SLAs are met.
  • Conduct regular vulnerability assessments across internal and third-party environments.

This is an opportunity for a highly experienced cyber security professional who has ideally worked at a senior level, or led cyber operations within major organisations.

Ideal Skills and Experience Include:

  • Experience with security and risk frameworks such as ISO27001 and NIST800.
  • A proven track record in a senior information security role.
  • Global experience is highly regarded.
  • Experience working with outsourced service providers.
  • Tertiary qualification or extensive equivalent experience in a relevant field.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills.
