Mental Health Clinician

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Mental Health Clinician to join our Wonthaggi Community Mental Health Team on a part-time or full-time, ongoing basis.
As a Community Clinician, you will work within a multidisciplinary team to provide mental health services to the local Gippsland region and neighbouring towns. You will be responsible for undertaking a full range of clinical duties, supporting child and youth consumers and families during their patient journey in acute episodes within recovery and treatment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide mental health services to the local community
- Work within a multidisciplinary team to support child and youth consumers and families
- Undertake a full range of clinical duties, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to support consumers in achieving their goals
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
- Provide education and support to consumers and their families

To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Qualifications as either a Registered Psychiatric Nurse (Division 1), Occupational Therapist, Social Worker, or Psychologist, with relevant registration
- Experience working within Mental Health
- Experience and knowledge in acute mental health intervention
- Ability to identify and provide discharge management
- Dedication to safe best practice and quality care
- Enthusiasm, compassion, and ability to work collaboratively
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work well as part of a team
