Aircraft Maintenance Engineer Role

We are seeking a skilled Aircraft Maintenance Engineer to support the Super Hornet and Growler Program for the Royal Australian Air Force at RAAF Base Amberley in Queensland, Australia.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain, modify, service, inspect, test, and troubleshoot aircraft systems, associated components, and equipment within your trade scope.
  • Prepare, handle, load, and maintain aircraft weapon systems, including the aircraft gun system, bombs, and countermeasures.
  • Ensure correct installation, testing, and functionality of armament systems in accordance with Authorised Maintenance Data (AMD).
  • Certify assigned tasks by undertaking AMO aircraft maintenance activities and signing off on those activities in accordance with AMD.

Requirements

  • Certificate IV in Aeroskills (Armament)
  • Australian Citizenship
  • NV1 Defence security clearance or ability to obtain
  • High level of verbal and written communication skills
