Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Auto Electrician to join our team for ongoing field service, backfill, ad-hoc, and shut crews.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical equipment and associated control devices.
  • Perform electrical repairs on various vehicles and plant, including 12-volt and 24-volt systems.
  • Repair parts and equipment as needed, and diagnose and fault-find using scan tools.
  • Order necessary parts and equipment, and use testing equipment to locate electrical and electronic malfunctions.
  • Dismantle and remove electrical and electronic assemblies and components, and test and replace defective alternators, generators, voltage regulators, and starter motors.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of relevant experience as an Auto Electrician.
  • Hold a recognized Australian Trade Certificate, Cert 3 Automotive Electrical Technology AUR30320.
  • Current C-class driver's license.
  • Strong commitment to safety, quality, and best practices.
  • Effective management and monitoring of on-site equipment, and a strong understanding of high-risk licenses (LF, DG, EWP, and WAH) is preferred but not essential.
