VFLW Senior Coach Position

Williamstown Football Club is seeking a highly skilled and passionate women's football coach to lead our VFLW program into its next phase of growth and development. As one of the oldest and most respected football clubs in Australia, we offer a unique opportunity for the successful candidate to make a lasting impact on the sport.

About the Role
  • We are seeking an experienced coach who can lead the VFLW program, including game strategy, player development, and overall performance outcomes.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining a professional, inclusive, and supportive team culture.
  • They will work collaboratively with club staff, High Performance, and Medical staff to manage player development and welfare.
  • The VFLW Senior Coach will be responsible for recruiting, developing, and retaining players and support staff.
  • Representing the club with professionalism across the VFLW competition, media, and broader football community.
Requirements
  • Proven coaching experience at VFLW, AFLW, or elite community football level.
  • Strong technical and tactical knowledge of the modern game.
  • A genuine passion for developing female athletes both on and off the field.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and people management skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a standalone football program environment.
