Mental Health and Addiction Clinician Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled Mental Health and Addiction Clinician to join our multidisciplinary team at Western Health.
In this role, you will work closely with clients and their families to provide comprehensive assessment, treatment planning, referral, and linkage into Community AOD Services.
You will also have the opportunity to work collaboratively with other healthcare providers to deliver high-quality care and achieve improved patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough assessments and develop treatment plans in collaboration with clients and their families.
- Provide education and support to clients on harm minimisation, relapse prevention, overdose prevention, and other evidence-based interventions.
- Work effectively with other healthcare providers to coordinate care and achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate records and reports as required.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Degree in social work, nursing, psychology, or a related health discipline.
- Excellent assessment, treatment planning, and clinical presentation skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities.
