About The Position

Calling all Psychologists, Mental Health Nurses, Occupational Therapists and Social Workers who are motivated by a social justice, equity of access to Mental Health services and a passion to make a real difference in peoples lives.

Integrated Recovery Services (IRS) is a free, not for-profit, medium-term mental health service with a strong focus on person-centered, strengths-based recovery approaches. We support people with complex needs and enduring mental health vulnerabilities in their journey to lead a meaningful and satisfying life and to help prevent them from slipping through the cracks of the system.

Reporting to the Service Manager and working collaboratively with a Peer Worker, as a Mental Health Clinician, you will use your clinical expertise to support participants to create the positive changes they identify as needed. You will also provide clinical care coordination in collaboration with GPs, psychiatrists, the local health district services and other community organisations.

This opportunity is available full-time, fixed term to 30 September 2025. Full-time positions have the option to enjoy a Rostered Day Off each month.

We Are Looking For Someone With
  • Current AHPRA registration as a Psychologist or Provisional Psychologist, Clinical Psychologist, Aboriginal Health Worker, Mental Health Nurse, or Occupational Therapist (accredited in Mental Health), or accreditation (or working towards) with the AASW as a Mental Health Social Worker.
  • Demonstrated experience in undertaking comprehensive mental health assessments and development of intervention plans in collaboration with consumers and their family and carers.
  • Demonstrated skills and experience in providing holistic, evidence-based therapeutic services.
  • Understanding of the biological, psychological and social underpinnings of mental health.
