About the Role

Cognizant is seeking a highly skilled Senior Full Stack Java Developer to join our team. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying complex software systems using Java technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage agile teams of software engineers to deliver high-quality software solutions.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to team members to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
  • Design and develop well-formed RESTful APIs using Java technologies such as Spring and Spring Boot.
  • Develop and maintain complex software systems using Java, JavaScript, and other relevant technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation to ensure knowledge sharing and reuse.
Requirements
  • Strong experience in Java development, including Java 8 and later versions.
  • Experience with Spring, Spring Boot, and other Java frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of software design patterns and principles.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies and version control systems such as Git.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
