Job Title: Secure Network Specialist

The role of a Network Security Specialist is to design, build and maintain secure network infrastructure that supports business operations. This entails developing and implementing effective security measures to protect against potential threats and vulnerabilities.

Key responsibilities include providing expert support and management for secure networks and telecommunications systems, as well as supporting system design, planning and implementation while investigating and resolving faults and user-reported issues. Furthermore, the successful candidate will prepare reports and proposals to recommend system improvements.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A recognised diploma in a relevant IT or Engineering field is essential.
  • No less than 7 years of experience supporting complex network security.
  • An understanding of IT security principles including Australian Government ISM and PSPF is mandatory.
