We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a lecturer or senior lecturer in medical imaging and radiation sciences.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences to undergraduate and postgraduate students, including the Bachelor of Radiography and Medical Imaging (Honours) program. This will involve developing and coordinating courses, delivering lectures, tutorials, practicals, and clinical sessions, as well as consulting with students and undertaking marking and assessment.

In addition to teaching, the successful candidate will contribute to research and scholarly activities, including co-supervising honours and postgraduate students, conducting original research, contributing to publications, and external funding. They will also participate in departmental planning and committees, and support research and program development activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences to undergraduate and postgraduate students.
  • Develop and coordinate courses, including the Bachelor of Radiography and Medical Imaging (Honours) program.
  • Conduct original research and contribute to publications and external funding.
  • Participate in departmental planning and committees.
  • Support research and program development activities.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Doctoral degree in medical imaging/radiography or a related field.
  • Current registration or eligibility to register with the Medical Radiation Practice Board of Australia.
  • Demonstrated experience teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students in radiography, with ability to teach image interpretation, CT or MRI.
  • Demonstrated publication record in high-quality refereed journals, conferences, or teaching resources.
  • Demonstrated strong teaching experience in a tertiary environment, including course coordination.
