We are currently seeking experienced and compassionate occupational therapists eager to serve NDIS adult clients in their local area and provide essential functional assessments.

Our Adult Clients

Our NDIS adult clients require services such as:

  • Functional Assessments: Conducting comprehensive assessments to determine the client's ability to perform activities of daily living (ADLs) and instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs).
  • Workplace Assessments: Assessing the physical and cognitive demands of the client's work environment, making ergonomic and accessibility recommendations.
  • Home Modification Assessments: Identifying necessary home modifications to improve client safety, independence, and accessibility.
  • Assistive Technology Recommendations: Recommending adaptive equipment or technology to support the client's functional independence and participation in daily activities.
Referral Process

At Timely Home Care, we make the referral process seamless:

  • Referral Request: We receive client referrals from NDIS coordinators or case managers and reach out to you with the details.
  • Referral Acceptance: If the referral matches your availability and expertise, you accept the referral.
  • Client Scheduling: Coordinate directly with the client to arrange a convenient appointment.
  • Service Delivery: You provide the required services (functional assessments, home modification assessments, etc.). We handle all communications with NDIS coordinators and case managers.
  • Reporting: Submit your report, and we ensure that all relevant documentation is passed on to the case manager.
Ideal Candidate

We are seeking occupational therapists who may be sole traders or professionals with full-time or part-time roles looking for extra work.

The ideal candidate is:

  • Experienced in conducting functional assessments for adult NDIS clients.
  • Skilled in working with a variety of physical, cognitive, and developmental conditions.
  • Independent and capable of managing referrals autonomously.
  • Flexible and adaptable to accommodate client schedules.
  • Proactive in delivering personalised care.
  • Excellent in communication to interact effectively with clients and case managers.
  • Multilingual Ability and cultural sensitivity are highly valued due to our diverse client base.
Professional Registrations

The ideal candidate will have (or be willing to obtain):

  • ABN
  • Independent contractor work rights
  • Professional indemnity and public liability insurance
  • Driver's licence and access to a vehicle (recommended)
  • AHPRA registration
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • COVID-19 vaccination certificate
  • National police check certificate
