Electrical Systems Engineer

At our organization, we are seeking an experienced switchboard builder with mechanical aptitude to join our growing team based in Ingleburn, Sydney.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build a range of low voltage and extra low voltage switchboards and DC rack mounted power systems from general arrangement and schematic drawings.
  • Read schematics and wiring diagrams.
  • Form a vital part of our engineering team to assist with electrical design updates, drawing changes and associated documentation requirements.
  • Work with the production team to achieve quality, delivery and budget targets.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in switchboard and power system manufacturing or installation.
  • Self-motivated, strong communication, and leadership skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated experience in resolving problems - technical, quality and schedule.
  • Experience working within critical infrastructure environments.
  • A current driver's license.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
